About Neo Productions

Our Vision

Neo Productions is a BAME-run community-based company specializing in creating opportunities in the arts and media for historically marginalised communities. We have created and produced a number of high-quality shows that have provided jobs for many black artists across Scotland. Our goal is to use the arts to positively influence behaviours and attitudes in Scottish society to make it more equal, diverse and inclusive.

Established in Edinburgh in 2004, we are the longest serving ethnic minority theatre company operating in Scotland. The aims of the company are:

To tell the stories that preserve the heritage of BAME people living in Scotland through theatre, media and the arts.
To provide opportunities for the BAME population of Scotland to develop their on-stage, back-stage and technical media skills.
To promote work of excellence by BAME creatives in Scotland, empowering communities and changing lives.
To build lasting relationships with audiences across Scotland and beyond for Black and Minority Ethnic-led work.

We have a track record for creating cross-cultural experiences of outstanding quality which are enjoyed by audiences of all ages and demographics. Check out some of our work!
